Privacy notice
What happens to the information you leave on www.goodtimers.com, who sees it and how long we keep it. The full policy, in French, is here.
Who we are
Good Timers is a service of SFVE (Société Française des Véhicules d'Exception), SASU with a share capital of €21,000, RCS Lyon 888 324 217, 2 place du Docteur Gailleton, 69002 Lyon, France. For anything about your data: contact@goodtimers.com.
What the search form collects
Your name, email address, phone number and the car you are looking for. They reach our mailbox, hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, a country the European Union recognises as offering equivalent protection. We use them to answer you and, if you hire us, to run your project. A request that goes nowhere is deleted three years after our last exchange.
Your IP address: 48 hours
When you send the form, our server notes your IP address and the time, so that the same address cannot send it again within ten minutes. This is our protection against spam. The address is not sent to us with your message, and it is erased automatically after 48 hours at the latest.
Cookies and fonts
These English pages set no cookie and carry no audience measurement or advertising. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address in the process.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) to protect the site against abuse. They are kept for twelve months at most.
Who else sees your data
Nobody, unless you ask us to find and import a car. In that case we pass on only what the purchase requires: to the seller for the bill of sale, to the shipping company in the United States, to the freight forwarder in Europe and to the bodies that register the car in your country. As sellers and shippers are often in the United States, some of this leaves the European Union, limited to what your purchase needs. We never sell or rent your data.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, restrict it or ask for a copy. Just write to contact@goodtimers.com. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
